Fees and Policies
Some health insurance plans are accepted. This will be discussed during the initial contact when setting up a first appointment. I am an identified provider for United Behavioral Health, Value Options, 1st Health, Anthem, UBC, UHC, Pacific Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Horizons Health, Magellan, PHCS, Cigna, Cover Colorado, UMR, Cofinity, Beacon and multiple EAP companies.
Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments:
Clients will be assessed from $60 to $140 for appointments that are not cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. The client is responsible for the entire fee, recognizing that insurance companies only reimburse kept appointments. The total past-due amount is due before the next appointment.
Clients are ultimately responsible for the balance of all bills, even if there is an insurance company involved in the payment of services. For clients who are self-pay and/or clients who have insurance co-payments and deductibles, the fee must be paid at the time of the appointment. However, if for some reason a bill is not paid in a timely manner, the balance of the account is standardly sent to a collection agency. The collection agency will only receive information relevant to collecting your fees and not information regarding the content of your therapy.
Emergency and Crisis Coverage:
For life-threatening situations, always call 911 or go to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room. For all other situations, I invite you to call the office phone number and receive after-office-hours crisis instructions or leave a message to be returned on the next business day.
- Individual Session: $140 per hour
- Family Session: $170 per hour
